examples: When he heard that he had broken the world record, he was ebullient. The crowd gave an ebullient cheer. The ebullient personality of Theodore Roosevelt made him a popular president. After learning of her promotion, she was in an ebullient mood.

2. bubbling or boiling.
example: She occasionally stirred the ebullient brew.
