1.  acting or working in an easy manner.
She had a facile mind and all subjects came easily to her.

2.  achieved with little or no effort.
The flawless performance appeared facile, but it had required months of intense practice.

3.  marked by superficiality; simplistic.
You didn’t give the article any real thought, and therefore you reached a facile conclusion.
The textbook’s facile explanation was more confusing than helpful.
